June 23-25, 2025 – Manila, Philippines – Innophos successfully hosted its latest Asia Pacific (APAC) Food Technical Seminar, in collaboration with distribution company Cornell, in the Philippines, bringing together 70 industry professionals from 27 companies. The seminar featured three specialized sessions tailored to the needs of manufacturers in processed cheese, beverage, and steamed bun segments, each highlighting how Innophos’s advanced phosphate solutions elevate product quality while reducing production challenges with finished products in order to meet consumer taste expectations and overall acceptance.
As part of its commitment to customer success, Innophos conducted a hands-on demonstration session for 30 participants from 18 companies, focusing on practical solutions for common issues in block processed cheese, cheese sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Participants experienced first-hand the benefits of Innophos Taicang phosphate Textur-Melt™ solutions, optimized for cost-effective formulations with protein and fat levels for cheeses suitable for the Philippine market. This session provided actionable answers for formulators struggling with the limitations of conventional phosphates in achieving product texture, meltability, performance, and consistency.
In the beverage segment, Innophos presented its phosphate solutions for beverage stabilization, addressing age gelation in dairy, oat, and soy milk as well as color and shelf-life stability in tea beverages and coconut water. 20 participants from 8 renowned beverage companies participated in these solutions hands-on with a special tasting session during the seminar.
For the steamed bun segment, the seminar introduced Textur-Rise™ aluminum-free phosphate blends, to help bakers achieve the desired white fluffy bun texture. This segment engaged 25 participants from 11 companies, highlighting enhanced dough quality, consistency, and visual appeal. Innophos collaborated with Vesmach Training Centre Philippines, a bakery equipment provider. The live demonstration using Vesmach’s Multi-Bread Forming Machine proofer and steamer reinforced the value for Textur-Rise™ solutions in steamed buns.
“We are proud to bring meaningful technical support and innovations directly to our customers in the Philippines,” said Audrey Soh, Regional Sales Manager, Innophos Asia Pacific. “This seminar not only addressed our partners’ formulation challenges but also underscored Innophos’s commitment to delivering cost-effective, high-performance phosphate solutions tailored to local market needs.”
The success of this event reflects Innophos’s growing footprint in the APAC region and its unwavering focus on collaborative innovation. With deep expertise and regional support from its Innophos Taicang operations, the company remains a trusted partner to food manufacturers seeking to improve functionality, shelf life, and consumer appeal.
